Fine Art

It’s a New Year…one of my resolutions was to be way better about blogging. The other resolution was to spend more time shooting for “fun.” I totally give up on the “I’m going to lose weight and exercise more ” type of resolutions. Those just don’t work for me.:)So, imagine my delight when a group of ladies decided to do a fine art project?? One the last Friday of every month we will post a photo that we might see as “fine art.” This means that once a month I get to shoot just for me and at least once a month you’ll see a blog post from me. It’s totally win-win!! And I can’t wait to see the amazing photos that this group of women will be posting every month. So, without further ado…here is January’s fine art image

Now be sure to check out the fine art image posted by Stephanie Greenwell, Southeast Missouri Photographer

I LOVE THIS SHOT!! Makes me want to put on some cowboy boots and lasso something! :) It really is gorgeous! I wish I had that view everyday! I’m thinking our next get together needs to be there! Great image!

AmandaB - January 28, 2012 - 8:30 am

This looks so cool. I love the distortion from the subject being so close with the mountains in the background. Black & White was the right choice here for sure.

Mona….

Every little girl loves horses… I know I did (and do) so when I was asked to capture this beautiful girl and her horse I jumped all over it. It was a gorgeous summer evening and we had a lot of fun. Mona kind of reminded me of a two-year-old. Mischeivious, busy and super-cute.

The Best Baby Hair Ever…

I mean really? Who doesn’t dream of curls like this? And we won’t even talk about her eyelashes! And she’s only 6 months old? She was such a sweetheart in the studio…

It would be nice if we could see more pictures of our first grand-daughter. We would like to consider them for Christmas presents for extended family.

It’s a nice day for a White Wedding

I loved this wedding…from the perfectly relaxed bride to the handsome groom. They were both beautiful and had a wonderful sense of humor. The day was perfect…from the weather to the people.

Thanks so much Tasha and Denny for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day. I wish you many amazing years together!!
